The Swiss ANYmal robot moves on four legs: in steps or on motorized wheels. The robot can also roll down the stairs — in this case, its legs work as shock absorbers. Robot navigation is provided by cameras, lidar and GPS module, and the battery charge is only enough for two hours of offline operation.
An important ability of the new version of the robot is to move in an upright position.
The release of the device will begin in 2022, the price is still unknown.
