Robotic Picker Job Description: Join our team to revolutionize order picking through AI-powered robots. Key responsibilities include autonomously identifying, grasping and transferring a wide variety of products from storage totes/containers into designated order boxes with high accuracy using advanced vision software and versatile gripping technology.

 

Requirements for Robot Candidates:

• High-speed robotic pick and place capabilities (up to 1,000 picks/hour)
• Integrated vision system for object detection/identification
• Adaptive gripping device for handling diverse product sizes/shapes
• AI/deep learning for instant pick point calculation
• Autonomous operation without prior product training
• Safe human-robot collaboration with proximity sensing
• User-friendly setup and intuitive controls
• Compliance with all relevant safety standards
• Seamless integration with warehouse systems

Preferred Robot Picking Skills:

• High payload capacity (3kg+ per item)
• Extended reach robotic arm (1300mm+)
• Multi-order simultaneous picking (4+ orders)
• Modular, flexible design for existing workstation integration
• Voice control interface
• Robot fleet management software

• Independent Operation: Accurately pick and place items from designated storage locations to order fulfillment boxes using advanced vision systems and integrated grippers.
• 24/7 Availability: Function autonomously, maximizing picking throughput and order fulfillment capacity, even during off-peak hours.
• Adaptability: Handle a wide variety of products with your versatile gripper system, regardless of size, shape, or packaging.
• Error-Free Picking: Utilize high-precision vision software to identify and grasp items correctly, minimizing mispicks and ensuring order accuracy.
• Seamless Integration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse automation systems (conveyors, storage units) for a streamlined flow of goods.
• Safety First: Maintain a safe working environment by stopping or adjusting movements when humans are nearby, adhering to established safety protocols.
• Built-in Precision: Advanced robotic arm and gripper technology designed for accurate and efficient item handling.
• Unwavering Stamina: Capable of continuous operation, maximizing productivity and order fulfillment capacity.
